The STEM Gym was started to provide an avenue by which K-12 students would have access to science, technology, math and

engineering (STEM) activities

particularly in the tri-county area.

Extended Learning in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math

The STEM Gym places students in an environment where they are allowed to focus on the concepts in a relaxed

setting and make sense of the concepts at their own pace. Research

suggests that concepts are best taught via inquiry based instructions.
